Meet Stormy Pizer: Mayor of Morrish Lane 🐾
Twelve years ago, Bill and Kati Pizer rescued Stormy - a sweet Huskie/Shepherd mix found near I-20. Named during a thunderstorm that marked the beginning of her new life, Stormy has been a loyal, gentle companion ever since.
Now living her best life in Buffalo Creek, Stormy is known as the “Mayor” of her cul-de-sac, greeting neighbors, hosting doggy playdates, and staying close to her best buddy, Bill.

Cruising the Blue Danube
From Vienna to the Black Sea, Harriet and Richard explored stunning cities, churches, and parks along the Danube River. One highlight was riding the giant ferris wheel in Vienna’s famous Wurstelprater Park.
They loved meeting new friends on the river boat and hearing stories of peace and progress as they crossed beautiful bridges connecting countries once divided.

♟️ Kids and Athletes Spotlight: Meet Bennett,
He is 9 years old and already making smart moves in UIL Chess. This is his first year competing, and he’s loving how it stretches his thinking.
He first picked up the game during family nights with his dad and now represents his school team. Bennett also plays golf and flag football, but chess is where his creative mind really shines.
Living with dyslexia means Bennett thinks differently, and that’s exactly what gives him his edge. His ability to find new solutions is just one reason we know he’ll do big things.
