irritated labret, need help soon!
hi guys, so i had this piercing done about 4 and a half months ago, it was healing great after the initial pierce and piercing irritation until i went to my local piercer and had the bar shortened since it was way too long (this was done 4 months later). it was going fine for about 2 days until i woke up with my lip pretty swollen and sore, which has gone down a bit over the last few days.

i’ve been using saline and alcohol free mouthwash on the piercing site. it seems to be getting a bit better but is still pretty swollen, with the piercing sinking into my lip a bit when my mouth is closed. when i had a longer bar it had started the nesting process but it didn’t hurt like it does now. i thought it might be embedding, but it’s easy to push it out. do you think i should wait a few more days for the swelling to go down or go to the piercing place and get the bar lengthened?

the jewelry is threadless implant grade titanium with a labret back. i had done this piercing myself and it was also pierced with implant grade titanium. ANY advice appreciated!!

Does my Medusa look okay?
I’ve got my central labret done so I’m aware that the swelling is normal. The bar is long enough and has plenty of room for additional swelling, it’s just not visible in the photos. I’m noticing some lymph fluid, which I believe is normal. The area around it seems a bit red too but it’s not painful or hurting excessively. In fact it feels fine. Has anyone had any experience with healing these?

I recently got into piercing myself. I feel like my piercing is a little off center, but my boyfriend doesn't notice. What do yall think? I don't want to do it again. :) and how would you guys recommend I take care of it? Any tricks?

Sorry for the weeeeird layout! Having serious trouble figuring out things this morning 😅 anyhoo, I'm already working my way back up to 1 inch in my lobes (they seriously shrunk due to a long medical stint where I couldn't wear any jewelrey!) I've got taper needles, I assume I need something different for a new piercing? (Probably a dumb question I know 😁) any and all ideas and opinions absolutely welcome! Within reason 😊💜

Are kitty bites a bad idea?
I’d love to get angel bites but I don’t like the way the top balls look..plus my mom really dose not want me getting anything that will cause supper noticeable scars around my lips (although I’m 19 I’m going to try and listen to my mom lmfao)

But I have heard they are AWFUL for your teeth a gums..? But it docent really look like they’d touch my teeth to be able to crack them like some people say..? Gums ofc I can see but is it anymore risky than snake bites or something like that? I have a tongue piercing that my dentist said would 100% effect my gums and teeth and to put plastic Jewelry in but…I though that was weird- I’ve never had any issues at all and i tried bioflex bars and it just irritated my piercing so I have medical grade metal in now and it’s been great!

I mention that because I’ve heard to put plastic or something g similar on the backs to keep your gums safer but..plastic sounds really gross setting in your mouth I’d have to change it CONSTANTLY I’d imagine

I just want a lip piercing really bad and am trying to find something I can get..that I actually like..that won’t course scars around my lip like my moms worried about- and this is one of the only ones I’ve found 😭

I can’t see myself biting down on this one by accident like I did when I first got my tongue piercing- and I’ve heard sometimes things like this don’t affect your gums at all..anyone have this piercing have any advice? Or any piercers have any advice on if this is a good piercing??

I've wanted to get my septum pierced for years now but I don't know if it would look good on me. I already have my nostril pierced as well. This is a picture of me wearing a fake septum ring to see what it would look like.

As a bisexual girlie I think that septum piercings look really cool and q***r but I also know that a lot of guys think they're ugly.

Should get it? And do you think it would suit my face?

I’m just wondering if my piercing set up suits me. I used to have a stretch sleep done but I didn’t like how the pincher looked on me. I’ve ordered a septum like the one I’m wearing now but it’s a bigger gauge (pic attached) and I hope that one suits me. I’ll start stretching it again!

i’m going to change my eyebrow piercing to spikes as soon as it heals as well. I used to have rings in my snakebites but I took them out because they messed up the inside of my lip. I think it’s because of the joint that was in the ring though and it was irritating it 🤷🏻‍♀️

What would suit my ears?
Hi, I was born with both ears like this, one with a more pronounced point than the other (the pic one), and I've never known what would suit them, since my last piercer couldn't tell me much (that's why I ended up that day with a nostril lol). I tried to imagine what a helix would look like, but I think it would look... out of place? And about others, like the industrial, I suppose I shouldn't even consider it...

What do you think? I know I have a stupid chungus set of ears, but I like to see it as a challenge lmao 🧌
