Here is the storm report for today May 6th, 2025.
Mostly small hail, nothing to worry about. But we did get severe rain, lightning, and a serious threat of flooding.
We are still not quite out of the woods for storm season so keep your head on a swivel folks. Large hail can strike any time and any where.

Last nights tornado warnings around Pilot Point were legitimate. We saw lots of lighting, high winds, and golf ball size hail.

As I've always said, it isn't until after that we're out of the woods with . Although, technically, it can hail any time of the year. It's just that between the months of March and May that Texas weather is optimal for hail storms.
What's so crazy is how fast these storms move. You can see with the time stamp that this storm covered an area of roughly a 3-hour drive in about 2 minutes. That's a fast-moving storm!
This just goes to show that when you get those severe weather alerts you should take cover immediately!

Heartbreaking images coming out of Acapulco Mexico where hurricane Otis made landfall. I sincerely hope our government and the rest of the world extends some humanitarian aid. 💔

Otis’ stunning transformation into a monster hurricane killed at least 27 people as it devastated Acapulco, officials say. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador says at least four people remain missing.
