A healthy, mature starter you make yourself can be just as strong and reliable. The age sounds impressive, but how you feed it, care for it and use it matters WAY more.

So if “I don’t have an old starter” is stopping you…make your own. 🤎

Every 100 year old starter had a Day 1. 😉
