The Society of Is-Real

The Society of Is‐real will be a public nonprofit organization. It is designed to mostly help trouble or lost teenagers find themselves and move toward a positive direction in their life, with the help of well qualified mentors, who can relate to them. ation of young urban men, teenagers and boys (most them being AfricanAmerican and Hispanics) from the promise of life, liberty and pursuit of property in America. More than 50% of urban black teenagers drop out of school and employment rates among young urban black males are growing; one in three will wind up in prison at some point in their life. These statistics are being generated even more into another generation, with just 37% of black children raised in a two parent family. Similar statistics exist for urban Hispanics and poor whites. Social scientist list many causes; persistent racism, lousy schools, poor parenting, and a growth of an oppositional culture that undermines achievement. With all of the evidence to the afore mentioned, there is still no national urgency about this ongoing American tragedy. The Society of Is‐real is the solution. Organizations Mission

The Mission of the Society of Is‐real is to be the best youth development organization in the Nation for young men. To promote great, intelligent young men, stop mass incarceration of these young men and improve the society we will live in.
