Spotted this Penelope Valencia Bourbon and grabbed it for a friend.

That’s what the bourbon community is all about. đŸ€

K**b Creek Blender’s Edition #01
10 years
106 proof
“Sweet bourbon blend”

Price: $41.99

At that price point it feels like a solid pickup
but I’m curious what the community thinks.

Buy or skip? 👇

If you’ve had it, drop your thoughts. Worth grabbing or leave it for the next hunter?

Sometimes the best bourbon finds come from the community. đŸ„ƒ

Grateful for the people who share tips, drops, and info — because today it helped me land my first Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye at Goody Goody.

BTAC bottles don’t show up often
so this one felt pretty special.

Proof that good bourbon friends are just as valuable as good bourbon.

Who else is still chasing their first Handy? 👀👇

Alright
let’s talk about this one. 👀

Had an awesome night trading pours, catching up, and finally getting to try some bottles that usually stay behind glass. That’s what this hobby is really about.

Got to spend some time with this E.H. Taylor — and I’ll be honest
it didn’t blow me away. Solid? Yes. Memorable? Not quite.

For something that carries BTAC-level hype, I expected a little more depth and punch. Maybe it was the lineup. Maybe it was the moment.

That’s the beauty of a bottle share — you get to try it before you chase it.

Have you ever tried a “unicorn” that didn’t live up to the hype? 👀👇

K**b Creek 12 doesn’t need hype. It just delivers. đŸ„ƒ

12 years of age.
100 proof.
Deep oak, roasted peanuts, dark caramel — and that long, warm finish that keeps you coming back.

This is one of those bottles that quietly outperforms half the “allocated” shelf.

What’s your go-to 100 proof pour right now? 👇

Always a solid pour with that classic OF profile.
Who else keeps this in their regular rotation?

đŸ”„ New Humidor Setup đŸ”„

Unboxing the LIHTUN 150-count electric humidor and I’m impressed so far. It feels solid and well built—not cheap at all. Size-wise, think desktop PC, but clean enough to keep out.

Setup was easy: unwrap, fill the water reservoir, set temp & humidity. Stabilized in under an hour, which honestly surprised me. I still let it sit a few days so the cedar could fully acclimate before loading ci**rs.

I smoke mostly 56+ ring gauge ci**rs, so I won’t hit max capacity—but I’m still fitting close to 100 ci**rs comfortably. It’s also super quiet
if it wasn’t for the LED lights, you wouldn’t know it’s on.

Simple. Clean. Doing exactly what it should.
👇 What are you aging right now?

Almost done with this one. đŸ„ƒ

Green River Wheated Single Barrel ( #3) didn’t last long — rich, sweet, and way too easy to keep reaching for. This is exactly why bottles get opened.

Bottle kills > shelf trophies.

What’s the bottle you’re dragging your feet on finishing?

Hope everyone’s had a great holiday season!

Bottle kill.

This one didn’t last long.

Not because it was hyped.
Not because it was rare.

Because it was good — and bottles like this are meant to be finished.

I know a lot of us keep certain bottles “for later.”
Waiting on the right moment.
Waiting on the right people.

But sometimes opening it is the moment.

What bottle are you scared to finish?
And be honest — what’s stopping you?
