Chi flew in from London for work and decided to explore Dallas on her own.

First time in the city. No real plan just a desire to understand where she was.

It was supposed to be a simple date night.

A husband and wife, just looking for something good to eat and a way to spend time together.

But somewhere between the first stop and the last bite, it turned into something more.
The food slowed them down. The stories pulled them in. The city felt different.

Dishes they’d had before suddenly meant something.
Flavors they recognized felt new again.
