From high atop the tree tops in the middle of Deep Ellum, the music mecca of Texas, you'll find one of the best little nests that is always packed with news of your favorite artists in rock. Providing subscription based content to one-man blogs, vlogs, podcasts, social media outlets, and websites all over the world, The Bird's Nest extends the branch of music news further than it has stretched sin
ce the first sounds came out of the radio. As the evolution of technology expands, bands have the ability to reach fans instantly with tools like social media, video channels and Live Video Feeds. While this is exciting, it also means everything has to move faster and what bands share with their fans has to be engaging. The Bird's Nest strives to find that "thing" within an artist or a bands that connects the fans and builds and reinforces that connection. We are fans ourselves and have grown weary of seeing the same things about a band over and over. We don't care to ask the same questions others have asked over and over. We do care about the energy and effort and feelings that hoes into being a musician. We care about making sure that if you have a message to share, it's shared and shared correctly. A way that The Bird's Nest delivers the current to continue the connections between artist and fan is to remove the limitations of smaller ezines, blogs, vlogs, and podcasts and open up the doors to creating the content for their outlets that the big boys do. Diversity in media comes from changing lanes - doing something different, being who you want to be. Without costing an arm and a chicken leg, The Bird's Nest gives you what you need at a reasonable price. "What's reasonable to some may not be reasonable to others...what kind of reasonable pricing are you referring to??"

TONIGHT IN DALLAS, TX: Grammy-nominated Matisyahu brings his music to Canton Hall in Dallas tonight. In addition and making this night one for the record books is eight-time Grammy award-winning singer, musician, and producer Stephen Marley.
Matisyahu has created his own space in modern music, developing a loyal following that has driven singles such as “One Day” and “King Without a Crown” to international recognition. His newest album, Undercurrent, was released last year via Thirty Tigers and Matisyahu’s own imprint, Fallen Sparks. Matisyahu and his band seamlessly merge instrumental improvisation sessions with lyrics and vocals.
