Trump Is Going After Schools That Let Teachers Accused Of S*xual Abuse Move To New Jobs.

The Trump administration is going after a practice called “passing the trash.”

That is when a school lets an employee accused of sexual misconduct resign or move to another campus instead of confronting the allegations.

The Education Department says federally funded districts must report, investigate, and stop it. Schools that fail could face federal action.

No district should get to protect its reputation by putting another child at risk.

Texas Is Now Letting Taxpayer Money Fund Private Islamic Schools.

Texas created its school-voucher program around parental choice. For many supporters, it also meant more faith-based options for Christian families.

Then Islamic schools sued after Texas initially left them out.

The state later approved every eligible Islamic school that applied.

Now qualifying families can use taxpayer-funded education accounts at private Islamic schools, just as they can at other participating religious schools.

That is what statewide vouchers mean: public money can follow a child to a private school of any faith.

Abbott Wants 10 Years Minimum For Texas Educators Who Have S*x With Students.

Greg Abbott is calling for a mandatory 10-year prison sentence for educators convicted of an improper relationship with a student.

“No more probation. Not two years. Not five years. But 10 years.”

Texas already treats it as a felony, but the current prison range can start at two years.

Abbott wants a hard floor: 10 years in prison.
