πŸ˜‚ I told AI to make the wig fly off her head...

AI looked at me, looked at the prompt, and said:

"Best I can do is turn the wig into a bird." 🐦😭

The funniest part?

There's still another wig sitting perfectly on her head like nothing happened. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

At this point, I'm convinced AI has its own plans.

THE DAY MY MOTHER SOLD HER WEDDING RING

Episode 6

Nobody moved.

Nobody even breathed.

My father's hand remained on the door handle.

The stranger standing outside looked calm.

Too calm.

The kind of calm that made everyone nervous.

"I've come to claim the land," he repeated.

My grandmother immediately stood up.

For the first time that night, fear appeared on her face.

The man noticed.

Then he smiled.

A smile that made my stomach turn.

"Good evening, Mama Grace."

The room became silent.

He knew my grandmother.

My father stepped outside and partially closed the door behind him.

But we could still hear every word.

"What land are you talking about?" my father asked.

The man laughed softly.

"The same land your mother-in-law just gave away."

My father's expression hardened.

"Who are you?"

The stranger reached into a leather folder.

Then he pulled out several documents.

Official-looking documents.

Stamped.

Signed.

And very old.

"My name is Chief Bamidele Adebayo."

The name hit my grandmother like lightning.

She grabbed the edge of a chair.

My mother noticed immediately.

"You know him?"

My grandmother slowly sat down.

Her hands were shaking.

"I prayed I would never see that man again."

The room froze.

Outside, Chief Bamidele continued speaking.

"That land never belonged to your wife."

My father frowned.

"What are you talking about?"

The man smiled.

"It belonged to my family."

Inside the house, my grandmother suddenly stood up.

"That is a lie!"

Everyone jumped.

The old woman who had remained calm all evening was suddenly furious.

Her eyes burned with anger.

The stranger heard her voice.

And smiled again.

A smile that suggested he had been waiting for this moment.

My grandmother walked toward the door.

My mother followed her.

So did everyone else.

Soon, the entire family was standing there.

Face to face with the stranger.

For a few seconds, nobody spoke.

Then Chief Bamidele looked directly at my grandmother.

"You thought I wouldn't find out."

My grandmother's face hardened.

"You stole from my husband."

The man laughed.

"No."

"You forged documents."

"No."

"You cheated our family."

"No."

The argument was escalating.

Fast.

Then my mother stepped forward.

"Somebody explain what is happening."

The stranger looked at her.

Then pointed toward the land documents.

"Ask your mother what happened thirty years ago."

The colour disappeared from my grandmother's face.

Immediately, everyone noticed.

The stranger saw it too.

And knew he had everyone's attention.

Slowly, he folded his arms.

Then he delivered the bombshell.

"Ask her why your father's signature appears on two different ownership papers."

The world stopped.

My mother blinked.

"What?"

My father looked confused.

So did the rest of us.

Two ownership papers?

Two signatures?

My grandmother remained silent.

The stranger smiled.

"That's right."

Then he reached into his folder one last time.

And pulled out a yellowed document.

A document older than any of us.

He handed it directly to my mother.

The moment she read the first line...

Her hands started shaking.

Because for the first time in her life...

She realized her late father may have been hiding a secret.

A secret buried for three decades.

A secret that could destroy everything.

Including the land.

Including the inheritance.

And possibly...

The entire family.

THE DAY MY MOTHER SOLD HER WEDDING RING

Episode 5

Nobody moved.

Nobody spoke.

My grandmother's words hung heavily in the room.

The admission letter was still in my sister's trembling hands.

My mother's eyes were swollen from crying.

And my father sat quietly, staring at the floor.

For the first time in my life, I saw a man questioning everything he believed.

My grandmother broke the silence.

"Tell me something."

She looked directly at my father.

"If your daughter becomes a lawyer tomorrow, whose daughter will she be?"

My father looked up.

"Ours."

"If she becomes a judge?"

"Ours."

"If she becomes president?"

"Ours."

My grandmother nodded.

"Then why are you so afraid of investing in her future?"

The room became silent again.

My father had no answer.

Then my sister stood up.

Slowly.

Carefully.

Her admission letter was still in her hands.

She looked directly at my father.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Daddy, did I do something wrong?"

My heart broke immediately.

The room froze.

My father looked stunned.

My sister continued.

"Was I a bad daughter?"

"No," my father replied instantly.

"Then why didn't you want me to go to school?"

Silence.

Complete silence.

My father opened his mouth.

Then closed it again.

For the first time, he couldn't explain his decision.

Because deep down, he knew the truth.

This had never been about his daughter.

It had always been about his beliefs.

Beliefs he inherited without questioning.

Beliefs that had quietly hurt the people he loved.

My sister wiped her tears.

"I just wanted you to be proud of me."

My father's eyes filled with tears.

Then something happened that none of us expected.

My father stood up.

Walked across the room.

And knelt before my sister.

My mother gasped.

I nearly fell off my chair.

We had never seen my father kneel before anyone.

Ever.

He took my sister's hands.

And began to cry.

"I am sorry."

Nobody moved.

Nobody spoke.

"I am so sorry."

My sister burst into tears.

My father held her tightly.

And for the first time in months, our family cried together.

Not from pain.

Not from fear.

But from healing.

Then my father turned toward my mother.

The woman who had carried the burden alone.

The woman who sold her wedding ring to protect her children.

The woman he had refused to listen to.

Slowly, he walked over to her.

Reached into his pocket.

And placed a small box in her hand.

My mother looked confused.

"What is this?"

"Open it."

Her hands shook as she lifted the lid.

The moment she saw what was inside, she covered her mouth.

Inside the box was a wedding ring.

A beautiful new wedding ring.

Tears immediately filled her eyes.

My father smiled through his tears.

"I know it can never replace the original."

The room became emotional again.

"But I wanted you to know that your sacrifice was seen."

My mother couldn't speak.

She simply threw her arms around him.

And held him tightly.

But just when it seemed everything was finally getting better...

A loud knock echoed through the house.

Everyone turned toward the door.

It was almost 1 a.m.

Who could possibly be visiting at that hour?

My father walked toward the door.

Opened it.

And froze.

The colour disappeared from his face.

Standing outside was a man none of us had ever seen before.

And the first words out of the stranger's mouth changed everything.

"I've come to claim the land."

🦜 THE PARROT WHO TESTIFIED IN COURT πŸ˜‚βš–οΈ

FULL STORY

The village court was packed.

Mama Bose dragged her neighbor to court, accusing him of stealing her yam.

πŸ—£οΈ "He stole my yam!" 😑πŸ₯”

The neighbor immediately denied everything.

πŸ—£οΈ "I didn't take anything!"

The judge listened.

The villagers argued.

Nobody knew who was telling the truth.

Then suddenly...

🦜 A colorful parrot flew into the courtroom and landed on the witness stand.

The entire court froze.

Before anyone could react, the parrot pointed at the accused man and shouted:

πŸ—£οΈ "THIEF! THIEF! MIDNIGHT YAM! MIDNIGHT YAM!" πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

The courtroom erupted.

The accused man got angry.

πŸ—£οΈ "You cannot use a parrot as a witness!"

Fair point.

But the judge decided to ask the bird one question anyway.

πŸ—£οΈ "Can you tell us what happened?"

The parrot puffed up its feathers and shouted:

πŸ—£οΈ "MIDNIGHT! FENCE! SACK! YAM! RUN!"

😳😳😳

The villagers gasped.

Then the bird added:

πŸ—£οΈ "BLACK SHIRT! RED SLIPPERS!"

Everyone slowly turned around.

Because the accused man was wearing...

⚫ A black shirt.
πŸ”΄ Red slippers.

At this point, things were not looking good for him. 😭

The judge folded his arms.

πŸ—£οΈ "Would you like to explain the red slippers?"

The man started sweating.

Then the parrot screamed again:

πŸ—£οΈ "CLIMB FENCE! DROP YAM! DOG CHASE! RUN!" πŸ˜‚πŸ¦œ

The courtroom exploded with laughter.

Finally, the accused man raised both hands.

πŸ—£οΈ "Okay! Okay! I took one yam!"

😳😳😳

The court gasped.

Then he quickly explained:

πŸ—£οΈ "But I dropped it when a dog chased me!"

πŸ•πŸ˜‚

The judge banged his gavel.

βš–οΈ CASE CLOSED!

Mama Bose got justice.

The yam thief got community service.

And the parrot?

The parrot received a giant basket of fruit for being the most reliable witness in village history. πŸ¦œπŸŒπŸŽπŸ‡
