Can you even tell it’s laminate?! 👀 I was totally skeptical until I saw this stunning Calcutta design in person. The veining is gorgeous, and the ogee edge made all the difference in giving it a high-end look.

We also swapped out our old sink for this beautiful white porcelain workstation from .bath and I’m obsessed 😍 It’s huge, easy to keep clean, and the drying rack gives our kitchen such a cleaner, more organized look. Even the wire rack at the bottom keeps my sponge from getting soggy and gross. 🙌

Next up: painting the cabinets and updating all the drawer and door fronts. Can’t wait for the full transformation! 🎨✨

Real talk: I’ve refinished a lot of furniture, but cabinet doors? Whole different beast. Mine were in such rough shape I would have had to strip and sand them and I’m just not up for that. Between the prep, the painting, and trying to hang them straight, it’s a LOT. So when I realized I could just order new painted doors from and paint the bases to match, uhhh duhhhh, I knew that was the way to go 🙌🏼

This project gave my kitchen a completely new look without the cost (or chaos) of replacing the cabinets entirely. If you’re on the fence about doing a cabinet makeover, this might be your sign✨

I used s Exceed k***s and Renown pulls in Champagne Bronze, and they made all the difference 😍 The finish is timeless and adds just the right amount of warmth and contrast against my newly painted cabinets. The hardware instantly elevated the space making it feel more refined and thoughtfully designed. You can really feel the quality in the construction - specifically the weight of the product. The hardware added that high-end touch I was looking for 🙌🏼

If you’re upgrading your cabinet hardware soon, here are a few mistakes you don’t want to make:

✨Placing your hardware too high or low – They should fit comfortably in your hands when you use them and you don’t want the placement to look awkward.

✨Skipping a hardware template – It only takes one crooked pull to throw the whole look off.

✨Not double-checking your measurements – The holes in the template are so close together, it’s easy to mark the wrong one.

✨Using the wrong screw length – It can lead to loose hardware or damaged cabinets

I tried to take a shortcut refinishing our stairs and ended up paying for it… twice 😅

Instead of painting all the cabinet doors and drawers (which is SO time-consuming and easy to mess up), I swapped them out for pre-painted ones and just painted the bases to match.

It gave me the custom look I wanted for a fraction of the cost, and way less stress.

Days I don’t have coverage, I surrender to the baby, and try to get done what I can when he naps. Some days I feel like I’m crushing it. Other days, I’m on the verge of a panic attack just trying to answer a few emails while someone’s yanking my hair 😩

Being a full-time content creator and a full-time mom is no joke, but we’re making it work one nap at a time.

Today was a win 🙌🏼 Tomorrow? Who knows. So I’m doing my best to slow down when I feel myself rushing, accept that not everything can get done every day, and be present for the moments that matter most 💕
