After losing my best friend, I was desperate to understand and yet too humiliated to ask "How do other women make friendship work?" So I hid postcards in women's bathroom stalls across the country that said "Every friendship has a story. What's yours?"

Thousands of women answered.
Those stories became The Best Friend Project. 🧡

Sometimes I forget I’m “interviewing guests” and genuinely feel like I’m just… hanging out with a friend.
Like I’ll have an “I KNOW!!! right?!” moment and then snap back like — wait. I wasn’t even there. 😅

But that’s the power of storytelling.
It makes someone else’s life feel like your own.
It makes you feel less alone.
It reminds you of parts of yourself you forgot existed.

Proof that stories aren’t just entertaining…
they’re healing.
