9am Saturday morning and I’m on the sidelines trying to enjoy my granddaughters cheering debut after a one hour drive to the stadium.

Temperature is 209 degrees. Bench is metal and harder than stone. Stands are crowded. Babies are crying. Refreshments are overpriced.

Mini-midgets fainting. Good-ole-boys spitting. Hair-spray, perfumes, and whiffs of body odor.

Sweat trickling in places that shall remain unmentionable.

It only took ten minutes for me to discard my flowing locks. {wig}

Oh, we also lost 27-0.
