DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD
AFRICAN CHILDS DAY
Join us on June 16, 2016 as we celebrate The Day of the African Child (African Child Day.) On June 16, 2016 we will be commemorating the Students and citizens of South African, Africa as a continent, and all of us around the world that has recognize June 16 as an important day in our lives.
African Child's Day came about when a groups of Student were killed in Apartheid South Africa in 1976 because they demand affordable education and to be thought in there native tongue to progress their interest. These student were massacre in the streets and sacrifice their lives because they understand the importance of education, equality, and opportunity.
On this very special day we put our differences aside and united together in celebration as a community of different tribes, colors, nationalities, traditions, race and ethnicity to support our children and young adult in the African community here in the United States of American and at our different homelands in Africa.
We join hands to celebrate not only the present opportunities and success we have achieve as individuals and as a community but also what lies ahead in the future; barriers that must be broken to pave the way for success for our children; opportunities that must be exploited for the benefit of us as individuals and as a community of people.
Everyone is invited. Tell a friend to tell another friend. Last Year was a success so we are looking forward on your help to make this year another successful African Child's Day.
Thank you.
