We're heading in to 2026 with some power! The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V pumps out 615 HP and 650 lb-ft through its dual electric motors and 102 kWh battery pack. Zero to 60 happens in just 3.3 seconds - the fastest Caddy ever built.

Brembo front brake calipers are included, the ride height is a touch lower, the adaptive dampers have been re-tuned, and the steering ratio is quicker. Revised exterior details and slightly more aggressive front seats with adjustable bolstering round out the package.

Range is an estimated 285 miles, down from a max of 303 miles on other AWD Lyriq models. Maximum DC Fast Charge speed is about 190 kW.

Tech highlights include GM's excellent Super Cruise, a 23-speaker AKG sound system, and an augmented-reality head-up display.

MSRP of this Opulent Blue V comes in around $86k. It's not quiiiite as emotional as a Blackwing, but we do love that Cadillac is V-ifying their SUVs... even the electric models. What do you think?

Keri has been staying busy. She recently showed up at Subiefest Florida with her supercharged GR86 posted up at the IIR vendor booth, turning heads all weekend.

The car itself is a constant work in progress. A Wilwood big brake kit is waiting to go on, autocross is officially on the radar, and there’s ongoing internal debate about wrapping the car. The blue is beautiful, but boredom is real.

When she’s not wrenching, planning the next mod, or plotting a future run at the Tail of the Dragon, Keri is casually doing photoshoots with and getting featured by brands like . Just normal car person things.

Maserati finally brought a media fleet to the District, and we're living with a 2025 Grecale over the holidays! Now their only SUV on sale, the Grecale is roughly sized like a BMW X3.

Ours is a Trofeo, which uses the same twin-turbo Nettuno V6 as the MC20. It makes 523 HP and 457 lb-ft, paired to a ZF 8-speed and AWD with rear limited-slip diff. Adaptive dampers and four-corner air suspension are standard, too.

Maserati offers some truly wild paint colors (that look spectacular and cost up to $15k) and great interior options on these. Unfortunately, ours is just black on black. We've got all the driver assistance goodies and heated front seats, but are missing the climate package (ventilated front seats, heated rears and heated steering wheel) and the higher-spec Sonus Faber sound system. MSRP still comes in around $124k.

We're driving this until early January - what do you want to know?

📸

Looking Forward To:

Tim and their team just wrapped their second race weekend and absolutely crushed it. Zero black flags. Zero close calls. No breakdowns. Smooth pit stops. Flawless driver changes. A huge leap forward from their first outing and a big confidence boost heading into next season.

Next up is some routine service on the Maxima after two long races and dialing in a few refinements as the team shifts from “learning how to race” to “we know the basics and we are ready to push.”

Off the track, Tim is also building out their Transit Trail. A new all-in-one kitchenette and dinette bench setup is on the way and will take the camper to the next level for race weekends.

We drove the new Navigator, now it's time for its sibling, the 2025 Ford Expedition. This one's a Tremor, the off-road (ish) trim that replaces the Timberline model, but every new Expedition has the same basic changes for 2025.

At its core, the '25 uses a revised frame from the prior Expedition, with minor front/rear design changes and a new interior. The rear now has a split tailgate, which is neat but unfortunately painted black no matter which paint color you choose.

Inside, you'll see a wide information display that appears to be half of the Navigator's 48" party piece. Lower down is a touchscreen that controls the info screen and most functionality otherwise. Ford has retained some physical controls, but moved a lot to the touchscreen, including headlights (sigh) and climate control. Naturally, we also get a squircle for steering, so we can see the big screen better.

Every Expedition uses a carryover drivetrain, the 3.5L EcoBoost V6. In Tremor spec, it makes 440 HP and 510 lb-ft - more basic models "make do" with 400/480. Power flows through a 10-speed automatic and 4-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case and automatic setting.

Choosing the Tremor adds 33" all-terrains, re-tuned suspension, "Raptor-inspired" running boards, a front skid plate, protection for the fuel tank, front axle, and transfer case, and a locking rear differential.

MSRP comes in around $86k here... what do you want to know? Would you cross-shop this against a Tahoe, Sequoia, or Armada? Or is it a little too out-there?

Two days of racing at Atlanta Motorsports Park and this little car gave us everything it had.
Fourth place on Saturday with penalty laps and a second-place finish Sunday as the lowest-powered car in class.

Endurance racing is a team effort and our crew showed up at every turn.

Proud of this community and proud of what we built together.

The 2026 Lucid Air gets a heat pump, more power behind its infotainment system, and DreamDrive Premium driver assistance tech standard across the board. Every Air, even older models, can now be charged at Tesla Superchargers using a NACS adapter, although only at 50 kW speeds. That's slow when you consider it can Fast Charge up to 250 kW elsewhere.

This week, we're in an Air Touring, the mid-tier model. New higher-density battery cells bring its range to an estimated 431 miles on 19" wheels. Naturally, ours is on 20s that knock the range down to about 396 miles.

Dual motors are good for 620 HP, 885 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.4-second run to 60. Adaptive dampers are standard, as are 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake calipers.

Lucid built this one with no glass roof, but loaded otherwise. DreamDrive Pro adds lane assist, the 21-speaker Surreal Sound Pro includes Dolby Atmos, and the Comfort/Convenience Package adds soft-close doors, heated everything, four-zone climate, and power rear sunshades.

MSRP of our Touring is just over $100k. We loved the first Air we drove in 2023, but it's got stiffer competition now. Would you consider this over a BMW i7 or Porsche Taycan?

Meet Mason. He and his partner travel wherever the Out Motorsports community takes them. Their setup includes a 2024 Ram 3500 towing a 30 foot Airstream, plus a 2005 911 and a 1999 Saab 9 3 Viggen coming along for the fun.

They are going to spend their time driving up the east coast, connecting with friends, joining rallies and track events, and exploring new roads. A track day is next on the wish list.

The cold never bothered us anyway ❄️ We swapped the Monoblocks and Potenza Sport summer tires for OEM 16" wheels and WS90 winter tires on Project W140 and did a host of repairs as well.

What started as one upper control arm replacement became a "while we're in here" job of upper and lower control arms, front springs (both had snapped coils!) and four new shocks.

Huge thanks to Bridgestone for keeping us on appropriate rubber and FCP Euro for all the parts! Out Motorsports Members get 10% off at FCP - just one of many benefits 👀
