Northern Nevada Ghosthunters - NNGH

Northern Nevada Ghosthunters - NNGH Est 2005 Paranormal Consultants to the Comstock Foundation for history and culture since 2014 Exploring history one spirit at a time.

Consultants for Gold Hill Ghost Tours all volunteer, non-profit. Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters (NNGH) was formed in 2005, by gathering like minded individuals who wanted to prove the existence of the paranormal. We are a non-profit group with a desire to understand the world of the paranormal. All of our services are provided free of charge and at no time will our group or its members ask for mone

tary contribution. Our number one goal is to help our clients. We firmly believe that there are things and occurrences that cannot be explained with three-dimensional scientific, earthbound understandings. We simply ask our clients to be open minded to the explanations we may present. All cases are confidential unless the client agrees to allow us to publish our findings on the NNGH website, magazines, newspaper articles and facebook, etc. Although we would like to publish certain photographs, EVP's and reports on our website, client confidentiality is a priority. Our investigations are based on scientific, as well as metaphysics and historical data. We use recorders, digital cameras, video cameras. K-2 meters, EMF detectors, dowsing rods, psychic abilities, and other various methods during our research. However, we must have concrete evidence (EVPs, photos, etc.) to declare a location as possibly haunted or active. Even though we feel strongly about the use of psychics and psychic tools, evidence must be more than just psychic "feelings" and "personal experiences."

in 1902, Comstock legend John Mackay passed away, leaving behind a legacy as one of the wealthiest and most generous men of the 19th century.

Born into poverty, Mackay rose from working the mines of Virginia City to becoming a titan of the Comstock Lode. As a member of the “Bonanza Kings,” he struck it rich with the legendary Big Bonanza strike of 1873, one of the largest silver discoveries in U.S. history.

But Mackay wasn’t just known for his fortune. He was admired for his integrity, philanthropy, and loyalty to the miners he once stood beside. He gave back to his community, funded education, and never forgot where he came from.

Today, we remember a man whose story is forever etched in the hills of Virginia City and the history of the American West.
