Rosie Day 2!
Old Stage Kennels set up a really nice cozy area for Rosie so that she did not have to be crated. Complete with a big bed and 2 comfy chairs.

She was a little down this morning. But, who can blame her? Her whole life changed in a day. She perked up just before I got there and ate. She was happy to see me for sure. She loves to go for walks and has had no accidents. She loved the kids and was fine with the other dogs.

We decided to keep her with Old Stage until she has been to the vet and we can say for sure what is going on with her skin.
But, we would love to have a loving forever home lined up for when she is ready.

Update on Rosie 🐾

Step 1 Complete ✅
Jodi Michele picked sweet Rosie up and shared a tearful goodbye with her owner. At least he is going into long-term care, knowing what mattered most in his life is being taken care of.
We gave her a bath and got her nails done. New bed, new, collar & new life ahead!
Old Stage Kennels Pet Resort, LLC took her in this afternoon. They are keeping her in the grooming area up by the house so she does not
Have to deal with the stress of the kennel.

Step 2- we need to find her a home!

She is such a sweet girl. She is searching for a nice warm lap to spend the rest of her years!
She seems to like everyone. So far dog intros have been between barrier and she seems unbothered.
She is an 11 year old Boston Terrier. Has skin issues that need addressed.
k9 Matchmakers will donate $150 towards her vetting.
Willing to help with transport.

We are picking her up tomorrow. Talerie at Old Stage Kennels Pet Resort, LLC has kindly offered her a soft place to land until a rescue or home can be found. Have reached out to several rescues. Waiting to hear back. Keep the suggestions coming.

Senior alert!! Posting for a friend!

This old girl, Rosie, needs a home. She’s 11 years old. Boston terrier mix. Her current owner has Parkinson’s disease and is going into a home on August 1st. If anyone can help please reach out to me. It’s a very sad situation. I wish I could unsee what I saw today. 😞 the papers say she is a Boston Terrier. She’s sweet, likes squeaky toys and snuggles. 🥰

Yesterday while volunteering at the shelter I encountered a young lady who was searching for a furry friend to add to her life and go on camper trips with her. I talked to her about Jeannie while she was looking around and because she didn't have Facebook I let her read the information from Jeannie's Foster family. Apparently after I left she fell in love and Jeannie went home to her new furever! 🐾🖤

Sammy is looking for her forever home ❤️🐾

🐾 Meet Samantha, but you can call her Sammy or Sam! This adorable 6-month-old shepherd/husky mix was found in the woods of TN as a timid little pup. Thanks to HALO K9 Behavior in Xenia, Ohio she’s come a long way, now living with the Director and her playful shepherd brothers.

Sammy has blossomed into a spunky little sister, loving to herd her furry siblings around the house and yard! While she may take a bit of time to warm up to new faces, she’s looking for a great social helper dog to guide her.

Crate trained and familiar with basic commands, this tiny powerhouse weighs in at just 35 lbs but is bursting with energy and personality. Get ready to be entertained by this little clown!
