back for round two! last week I posted my day schedule as a mom of 2 with a day off work 🫶 and you all loved it!

so here we go again! $10 gets you access to an ENTIRE day of activities and fun for two kids and you!

• National Railroad Museum story time (40 minutes long!) $10 for two kids and one adult
• or head to to enjoy their talon talks program or catch the wolf feeding experience!
• libraries are so much fun and today the Howard brand has a magic + steam show at 2:30pm!

Vulnerable post 🚨!

Moms, you know how life can be. On the go all the time. Running kids from one activity to the next. It’s so hard to focus on healthy eating. As my kids get older, we rarely sit down for meals because everyone is on the go.

For years now, I have been working on strength training and getting fit. But as I grow older, I just can’t lose weight the way I did. That’s why I am exited to start nutrition training with Luke Briggs at Total Life Fitness. They are a Wisconsin business based in Madison, but work virtually with me to create a plan to eat, exercise, and find out what my body needs to be healthy.

They know what life is like for busy moms, so everything in my first meeting today was based on steps I can make with the schedule that I actually live in. I can’t wait to make changes in the way I eat, and want to share my journey with you.

you all went craaaazy when I first posted about “the list” —which is a list I curated of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries & cozy spots in the area that go above & beyond to cater to kids

think places that have a kiddie corner with books, toys, crafts etc!

we are working hard to upload the list on our website, so we can continue to update it as we learn of new places but for now here is every single place on “the list” with what they have/offer to entertain the littles & kids!

p.s. this list is about places that were not originally created for kids but rather went above & beyond to cater TO kids! however, we included three places that were, indeed, created for kids but incorporated coffee shops + full food menus for the whole family!
