Let's take a bit of a trip down history lane...

1991. Chevrolet Corvette. L98 V8. Quarter Mile? 13.4 seconds under perfect conditions.

2024. Hyundai IONIQ 5. SEL Trim. Quarter Mile? 13.2 seconds under ANY conditions and under 13 seconds in perfect conditions.

Your basic, low-end, commuter EV is roomier, smoother, and FASTER than yesterday's basic "muscle car!" The IONIQ 5 will cross the line ahead of the 91 Vette every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Bring in the Type N (under 11 seconds), and the results are even more embarrassing for the Vette. The best the top-end Vette ZR-1 could muster would have been about 13 seconds flat.

If you want to keep on telling yourself how good the Internal Combustion Engine really is, even my 2023 Bolt EUV comes in under 15 seconds in the 1/4 mile and beats the Corvette off the line. The only reason it cannot beat the Vette in the 1/4 mile? It is limited to a top speed of 93-mph due to the transaxle design, not the drive motor!

Another Walmart Charging site is coming to Sanford, FL.

This will be a 4-cabinet, 8-stall ABB-400 charging site. Two of the charging units will be accessible and/or pull through. They are being built at:

Walmart Supercenter #3207
1601 Rinehart Rd.
Sanford, Florida 32771

The units will look like the chargers installed in Lakeland, Florida (pictured here). The fences are up and construction is underway.

Permitting confirmed through City of Sanford. Site will be complete by March or April 2026.

Are the new 2025 CAFE Standards better?

What does this have to do with Drill, Baby, Drill? And how you MIGHT save $930 on the price of the new car, but you will spend WAY more than that on the extra gas your car will use over its lifetime?

Lowering the CAFE Standards is a move so obvious (feeding a bone to Big Oil), that you have to be dumber than a box of rocks not to make the connection.

Everybody wants to talk about the “inefficiency” of renewable energy. How they don’t work if the sun don’t shine or the wind don’t blow.

I admit—there are inefficiencies.

But let’s examine the inefficiencies of burning stuff and nuclear energy too.

1) Burning Fuels: The best you’ll get burning stuff is 30 or MAYBE 35 percent. After it’s burned, it’s 100 percent GONE!

2) Nuclear Fuels: Does not last forever. Waste must be stored for 10,000 years.

3) Renewables: The solar farm and wind farm will be there tomorrow making power—from FREE fuel. And both require LESS maintenance than fuels or nuclear.

The inefficiency of solar and wind is overcome through longevity and productivity—coupled with low and inexpensive maintenance.

Stop believing the lies…the truth is out there. All you have to do is learn to think on your own.

There is a great-big, gigantic, almost endless fusion reactor in the sky providing enough energy to the surface of the earth everyday to run the entire world's electrical grid for the next 10 years...

YET...

We still have people dumb enough to believe that BURNING carbon-based fuel is the only way to keep our civilization moving forward!

Only someone who has ZERO ability to think and reason would believe that!

Renewables are our BEST and ONLY long-term energy solution.

I am fed up with arguing about this. There is NO WAY anyone will ever convince me that we still have a need for oil, coal, and natural gas to keep our lights on and our cars running.

Anyone who thinks different better come with FACTS, FIGURES, and PEER-REVIEWED science if they want to enter into this debate. As for me...I not only know this is the best way to go, I know that it is the ONLY way to go!

Who, in their right mind, would be against FREE fuel (the sun)? Only someone with an IQ smaller than their shoe size!

I’m at Walmart on 3501 S. Florida Ave. in Lakeland. Four chargers, Eight Stalls. ABB Model A400S1.

These are some nice chargers.

I’m the only one plugged in. I’m not here to do a speed test. Just visiting my brother and stopped in for a topoff.

So here are a few headlines that don't make the headlines in the LAME stream media.

1) The immigration raid on the Hyundai plant in GA where 317 workers were detained was a mistake. The Trump Administration apologized for this mistake. Did you see that in the news?

2) Trump is planning on opening up the waters off the coast of Florida for oil and gas drilling! Have you heard about that one?

3) Trump is opening up seven new "lease" sites in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana.

This Administration is violently anti-EV and pro pollution. This is unacceptable.
