because it’s cool to care and not let perfectly good stuff end up in the landfill!

if you have any apprehension or qualms around secondhand, can you drop them in the comments??

because in the year 2025, secondhand should be just as mainstream as Disney, in my opinion.

whether you’re swapping clothes/books/tech amongst friends and family or shopping at a thrift store, the options are endless!

no matter if I buy something new or secondhand, I ALWAYS wash/clean it, so cleanliness is not an issue.

now elitism amongst the general public, that’s an issue.

secondhand is part of a circular economy, so stop living in the dark ages and come over to the thrifted side!

happy autumnal equinox! 🍁

despite being a true tropical Floridian, fall is my favorite season!

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing some beautiful fall foliage (my favorite part), but there’s something so attractive about the pace of nature slowing down.

nature reminds us that we cannot have summer forever. that there must be times of rest and renewal.

we are not always meant to go, go, go. sometimes the most productive thing we can do is play or rest.

and as we’re getting into the fall of it all, this is your reminder that you don’t need to buy *new* decor.

look for the experiences you can do this fall instead, like local gatherings or events to attend, visit a pumpkin patch (we even have them in Florida 😂)

try making decor, shopping for it secondhand, or using what you already have!

enjoy this time for what it is, a transition into a slower season 🧡

people are being exploited so we can have the latest tech.

not just people… children.

in December 2024, the Democratic Republic of Congo filed a lawsuit against Apple.

Conoglese minerals have been illegally exported around the world, bringing chaos to the region. (equaltimes.org)

long story short, the minerals being stolen from this land and its people are used for electronics, and Apple is a major contributor to this problem.

the best thing to do is hold onto what you already have, for as long as you can.

if you’re in the market for electronics, I highly recommend checking out ‘s certified refurbished tech!

these events are a great way to get involved in our local community and give back!

I personally love going to these kinds of events and will be at the International Coastal Cleanup Day with in Pompano (9/20) and I would love to see you there!
