😱It’s the year 2020 and I’m getting ready to OPEN my first business…..
Yesterday I asked Intentionally-Rising to write letters to their younger selves ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
HERE IS MINE:
Keep dreaming, Katie.

Even when the dream doesn’t look anything like you thought it would.
You’re going to start things that work. You’re going to start things that don’t. You’re going to pour your whole heart into ideas that will grow beyond what you imagined—and you’re going to pour that same heart into things you eventually have to let go of.
None of it will be wasted.

You will face hardship, Katie. There will be moments when you question yourself. Moments when the money is tight, the plan falls apart, the door closes, and you wonder if maybe you were crazy for believing you could do this in the first place.
Keep going.

You’re going to learn that failure isn’t the opposite of success. Failure is part of becoming successful. Every wrong turn will teach you something. Every closed door will redirect you. Every season will give you something you’ll carry into the next one.
Never stop putting your hand out.

Ask the question. Introduce yourself. Walk into the room. Sit at the table even when you’re nervous as hell. Tell people what you do. Support the person beside you. Build relationships before you need them. And when you finally have something to give back, reach your hand behind you and pull someone else forward.

You were never meant to do this alone.
Give yourself grace, girl.

You’re learning business while you’re building one. You’re learning leadership while becoming a leader. You’re going to make mistakes, change directions, outgrow things you once prayed for, and have to begin again more than once.

Beginning again does not mean you failed.

It means you had the courage to keep becoming.

One day you’ll realize the legacy you were so determined to build was never just about a business name, a building, a bank account, followers, awards, or how much money you made.

It was about the people.

The people you encouraged.
The businesses you supported.
The community you showed up for.
The women who watched you do something scary and thought, maybe I can do it too.
And the people who saw you fall down, pivot, rebuild and keep freaking going.

So keep dreaming ridiculously big.

Keep betting on yourself.

Keep showing up.

Keep failing. Keep learning. Keep evolving.

You can do hard things, Katie. You’re going to prove that to yourself over and over again.

And if I could sit across from that younger version of you right now—the one with all the ideas, all the fear, and absolutely no clue where this road is going—I’d grab her hand and tell her:

Girl, you are on the perfect path.

Not because it will be perfect.

But because every single piece of it is shaping you into the woman you’re supposed to become.

Keep going.

We’ve got a legacy to leave. ❤️

🙋‍♀️I’m not your typical social media manager… and that’s kinda the point.
