Our Texas trip has came to an end and even though we wasn’t able to get our 4 birds we both were able to get our first Rio grande turkeys and definitely had a blast. This place is definitely not short of birds and definitely needs to be added to your bucket list if you are looking for a Rio for a potential grand slam. Wasn’t the day we was hoping for but still brought 5 to the scales on a body of water neither one of us have ever seen. Finished 4th today in the first Slay em and weigh em tournament for the season. Plaqued with all small fish but still a fun day leaning on a few. Shoutout to Swampro Lures for providing the best baits on the market. Went to Mississippi today and put out some more deer candy and put new batteries in the WiseEye cameras. Put some fresh lick and gro out and a protein plus block topped with some buck munch from Backwoods Premium Wildlife Products. Also they are overtop a Dixie 6 plot so the deer definitely have plenty to eat to put back weight on from the long rutting season. As the sun sets on the last day of Louisiana rifle season and probably my last hunt in Louisiana for the year. I feel it’s a great time to reflect on what was a very trying and difficult season for me
But a blessed season for my family as a whole. I want to thank all my followers of my page who kept up through this hunting season and also thank the great company’s that support me and help me succeed at these hobbies that I have obsessed about since I was a little boy.
