A four year old with better body position than most street squids.

Proper body position is a habit built from day one. Getting your shoulders off the bike starts with "kissing the mirror," or simply teaching them to touch their chin to their inside hand. Once the head moves, everything else falls into place. Pointing your chin naturally aligns your shoulders, hips, legs, and toes.

It’s much harder to break a bad habit than it is to build a good one. She has the luxury of taking baby steps into proper technique now, so she’ll never have to unlearn bad habits later.

Life is often a constant up and down. Sometimes there are bad days, and sometimes there are great days. But every day we get to get out and ride together is a great day.

As much as I want her to keep getting better and faster, it does not come without a sense of anxiety. I hope she makes it through without ever getting hurt or scared.

As we all know this sport can carry both consequences. But smiles, determination, and me constantly saying “gas gas gas gas gas” into her comm keeps her going 😂. Either way it’s always a great time when she can ride her at RIVER VALLEY MX - BOYD TEXAS.
