Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a quick update about the camera at my pickup stand.
Up until now, Iβve mainly had the camera there as a prop because the batteries drain so quickly when itβs running constantly. However, after two recent incidents where items were taken that were meant for paid pickups, Iβve had to make a small change.
I do want to be clear that I believe this is a resident and not one of my customers, as my customers have always been very respectful and honest.
From now on, I will be keeping the camera fully operational and recording during pickup times to help protect orders and prevent this from happening again.
Please know that:
β’ I will NOT use any footage for social media or public sharing
β’ I will not actively monitor footage unless there is an issue that needs to be checked - so please continue to message me if anything happens
β’ All recordings are automatically deleted within 24 hours
This is simply a step Iβve had to take to protect my small business, my name, my work, and the honesty I really value.
