On Sat. Feb 26, join us for an exclusive performance by Steinway artist Stephanie Cheng and the Stratus Chamber Orchestra. Dr. Cheng is a renowned pianist who has performed at major music centers across the world to critical acclaim, including Carnegie Hall, Opera City Hall of Tokyo, National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., and more.

She was awarded the Rose Marie Milholland Award in Piano at Peabody, and has distinguished herself in several international competitions. She was also the recipient of Prix-Ville de Fontainebleau in France, personally presented to her by Philippe Entremont.

Dr. Cheng will be performing Clara Schumann's Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 7.

Augustana Arts is thrilled to receive a grant from the Creative Industries Division of the Office of Economic Development (CCI) through the Colorado Arts Relief Fund!

This funding initiative passed by the State of Colorado legislature created in Section 4-48, 5-316 enacted by Senate Bill 20B-001 and amended in the Regular Session with House Bill 21-1285. Up to 15.5 million dollars for relief payments to eligible artists, crew members and organizations.

Augustana Arts received $60,000 and for this we are thankful as it will help to pay for artists, teachers, music equipment, and more!

Thank you to our state legislators and tax payers for providing these valuable resources to arts organizations such as Augustana Arts, Stratus Chamber Orchestra and Music Encounters. We couldn’t do it without the support of entities such as the Colorado Creative Industries!

The Marshall Fire was the most destructive in Colorado’s history. The blaze destroyed nearly 1,000 homes, as well as valuable instruments and music. For many musicians, those instruments often mean their livelihood.
