At 1080 Studios, we bring the studio to you!
We were contacted last week to do a Covid-19 response video for a preeminent respiratory hospital in our area. The goal was to help produce video content for front-line health care workers and doctors regarding the pandemic. These projects are often done in a studio, but due to social distancing guidelines, and best practices, the client needed the shoot to be done on location to minimize travel and adhere to the doctor’s busy schedule. At the last minute, the hospital also let us know that only 1 technician would be allowed into the hospital along with the director/producer, who would also now be the teleprompter operator. Because of our extensive equipment and experience, we were able to supply everything needed at the last minute and bring the studio to the client. Being flexible and having an intimate knowledge of your equipment, and owning a good sound kit, and some make-up, made for a very successful shoot.
During these uncertain times, clients seem to be more comfortable in the controlled environment of their workplace. The less is more strategy is certainly playing out now.
