Parade is playing this week at Des Moines Performing Arts. We knew nothing about the show but are deep down the rabbit hole now. Based on actual events, it tells the story of a young Jewish businessman accused of murder in 1913 Georgia. While it wasn't a "fun" show, it was incredibly well done and an important piece. Not recommended for children but very encouraged for an adult audience. Listen in to hear more, we left the biggest spoilers out just for you.

We just saw Michael in Des Moines Playhouse Alice In Wonderland playing the White Rabbit.

And we will always be thankful for the time he snuck us ice cream during intermission of Godspell :)

This was this afternoon but we've been full on.

I LOVE Audra and missed when she came through Des Moines.

This was ah-mazing!!! At one point I thought she was going to have a breakdown and thought to myself "I'm going to be at the performance she has a breakdown!"

I now understand why people fly to New York to see shows. - Karen
