Iowa Before Everything Changed. 🌽❤️
There was a time when life in Iowa moved a little slower.
Farmers knew their neighbors by name. Kids followed their fathers down dusty farm roads, old pickup trucks sat outside the barn, and the windmill turned quietly above endless fields of corn.
Small towns were built around Main Street, family farms, church suppers, county fairs, and people who never thought twice about helping a neighbor.
There wasn’t much rush. There wasn’t much noise.
Just hard work, family, wide-open fields, and the simple feeling that tomorrow would look a lot like today.
Maybe that’s why old Iowa photographs feel so special.
They don’t just show us a place.
They remind us of a way of life that slowly disappeared.
