Happy first day of school to anyone who is celebrating their kiddos off to a new year!

Funny story - 2 weeks ago, my littlest guy had a quick trip to the emergency room for a health issue. My daughter, who is 12, wanted to come (it was after 9 pm!) so I told her to take something to entertain herself while we were there. What did she grab?

It’s officially been about 2 months since the launch of Knotty Little Press! Annnnnd 🥴 it’s been a humbling experience. $1200 worth of books left delivered in the rain, a massive drop in sales (thanks to this incredible economy!) and life is just life-ing right now. Big sign. 🥹

This isn’t a pity plea - it’s more of a reality check. Owning a business has some major ups and downs and 2026 is no exception. Life is heavy for us all, to be real. Knotty Little Press is meant to be a stress reliever and it is!🥳

I am working on a new book I hope to have ready soon. In the meantime, I’ll keep plugging away - just like we always do!
