PROTECT YOUR PEACE!
I recently had an interaction with someone whose behavior towards me triggered the unhealthy, unhealed version of me, That I believed was gone. It was hours before I realized how destructive my thinking was becoming. The trigger was so intense my emotional pain was causing my body to experience physical pain.
My nervous system was deregulated.
Until I acknowledged what was happening, and where I had allowed my mind and emotions to go I was struck in the vortex. I had to remind myself that I am healed. I had grown past this type of thinking and behavior. As I started to use my tools breathing, focusing, relaxing my body and affirmations.
I soon was able to let go of the experience release the negative mindset and relax in my peace.But it still took days for me to feel like myself. The return to calmness place.
But I learned a valuable lesson, to protect myself and live in my peace.💙

Release Shame!
Shame is different from guilt. We carry guilt for things we have done, or not done; actions that we feel have hurt others. But shame is an energy that we carry within ourselves about who we are. We can have lived a life of service and devotion and still feel shame about who we are. It is not based on our actions or the choices we have made in life, it runs deeper through us. There is no explanation for why we feel as we do, except that we carry the old wound that tells us that being human is sinful; that to be human is to be less than perfect. But the universe sees us as perfect, knows we are. And that shame is not needed. ###

Doing The Work Of Inner Healing.

Anxiety serves as a "signal" that something deeper needs to be acknowledged and processed.

Below is a snapshot of underlying symptoms, from deeper issues, that can feel like or transmute into anxiety:

1- Childhood: abuse, neglect, or family dysfunction. These experiences can leave a lasting impact on the individual’s emotional development, leading to deep-seated fears, low self-worth, or a pervasive sense of insecurity. These unresolved conflicts often manifest as chronic anxiety in adulthood, as the mind unconsciously seeks to protect itself from perceived threats, even when none are present.

2- Suppressed emotion: People who struggle to express or process emotions like anger, sadness, or grief may develop anxiety as a way of coping. For example, a child who was taught to suppress anger may experience anxiety instead of openly expressing this emotion.

This phenomenon is known as "emotion substitution," where the anxiety serves as a substitute for the suppressed emotion. The constant emotional suppression can create internal tension, which eventually manifests as anxiety.

3- Identity & Self Esteem Issues: Deep-seated issues related to self-identity and self-worth, often contribute to anxiety. People with low self-esteem or a fragile sense of self may experience heightened anxiety in social situations or when faced with challenges that test their self-image. The fear of rejection, failure, or not living up to personal expectations can trigger anxious thoughts and behaviors, creating a cycle that reinforces feelings of inadequacy.

4- Attachment & Relationship Issues: Early attachment patterns significantly shape an individual's emotional landscape. People who have experienced insecure attachments in childhood may develop anxiety in their adult relationships. This anxiety often stems from a fear of abandonment, distrust, or an inability to feel safe and secure in interpersonal relationships. Addressing these attachment issues can reduce relationship-based anxiety and improve overall emotional health.
