Love Club presents Javonntte & Isaac!
What is the sound of a collaboration that spans generations and origins? What differing notions could be synthesized through the act of making music? Detroit’s Brian Garrett, aka Javonntte, has teamed up with Isaac Prieto to discover just that.
Javonnttee began his remarkable music career backing some of Motown’s finest, from Aretha Franklin to Amp Fiddler. Both an accomplished keyboardist and vocalist, he’s released music through Patrice Scott’s Sistrum Recordings, Kai Alce’s NDATL Muzik, and most recently, on Isaac’s label Detroit Sound Odyssey
Prieto, a Mexico native, has meticulously embedded himself into the music scene in Detroit. He currently holds a vinyl only residency at Spkrbox and UFO Factory. His newest record label, Detroit Sound Odyssey saw 5 releases since 2022 with more on the way.
Isaac’s unique style of blending records combined with Javonntte’s undeniable keyboard skills has led the two to create a genuine, inimitable sound one could only find out of Detroit. Their fluid collaboration, authentic energy, and love for the city make them an undeniable musical force to experience.
