💭 Does anyone else get overwhelmed and somewhat distracted by Chopin’s intensity while learning his music, or is it just me? 🫥😮‍💨Day no. 2 Everyone has a different method of learning. I need to learn at a slower speed to dissect the piece I am working on. It is also helpful with discovering your own technique. Being extremely ADHD, I always tend to feel rushed with tunnel focusing because I feel compelled to finish what I start. In simpler terms, I have little patience. Playing slow forces you to be more detailed and aware, it actually increases your focus.Also, selecting small portions like 8-10 measures to work on—- (take a break after) helps by giving an incentive/goal to work towards so you’re not finding yourself practicing for hours without results. #piano #pianotips #pianopractice #pianopiano #pianotime #pianolove #pianist #pianistsofinstagram #chopin #pianomusic #pianocover #musician #musicianlife #musical #classical #classicalpianist #classicalpiano
