I have had a AAA card since I started driving at 16. AAA card and my car tags have been a part of my birthday gift from age 16 through college at least.

As an adult I continued to maintain my AAA membership, w especially after I saw how much my insurance company charged me for road service every 6 months (when I wasn’t insured with AAA). One insurance company almost treated roadside as a claim and sent a letter any time I used it. So, I dropped roadside with my insurance company and just use my AAA card for road service, because it is more economically feasible.

Moral of the story, a AAA card is always a good back up plan to have in the case of emergencies.

Note: You have to have a AAA card 3 days before using the service. So, don’t wait until you’re stranded. Be proactive!

It’s that time of the year! The sundown time is shortening. Kids are back to school. Your days are getting busier. I have had a AAA card since I started driving at 16.

If you don’t have a AAA card, this is a perfect time to get one or gift one.

If you have someone who calls you when they run out of gas or get a flat tire, gift them a AAA card!
If your child is in high school or college and is driving themselves to school, get the peace of mind to know someone is there when they need them when you wouldn’t be able to help them right away.
If your significant other calls you because they are stranded, trying to buy time on getting a better vehicle and have car troubles often, get them a AAA card.
Some else take your kids to school or cares for a loved one and transports them often, get them a AAA card. You wouldn’t want your child or loved one stranded on the side of the road.
