STAY (2017) Trailer
Happy Sunday. It’s Pride Month 🏳️🌈 and in celebration, I want to take yall back to my first feature length film, the LGBTQ drama film “Stay”.
Filmed from 2014-2017 in Detroit and the surrounding metro area, it was a fun journey from development to premiere. It was a learning experience that I could have never gotten in a classroom.
While I’m not gay myself, I liked the story that Katelin Maylum wrote. It was pretty realistic and the character’s weren’t the one dimensional stereotypes you normally see. I felt that it would resonate.
