Protest pro-tips. 💖

Some comments in addition to witnessing recent LAPD crowd tactics. Some city's Law enforcement tactics will often vary depending on the department. However our advantages are often how they organize top-down allowing room for quick out-maneuvering while they have to wait for orders. LAPD is one of the most technologically advanced and militarized police forces in the world. They've been known to do trainings for Israeli defense and soldiers in Occupied Palestine. The following are some things we noticed while they run drills on our uprisings in Tongva territory. *
BE AWARE AND COUNT THEIR NUMBERS
They amass overwhelming numbers of police to create kettles within kettles. Sometimes busting through one could mean facing another. Organized Bicycle brigades have been extremely helpful in out flanking and even predicting where police kettles set up where mass arrest may be deployed. *
WATCH THEIR COMMANDING OFFICER
Like mentioned before, police are a top- down, vertical, inherently hierarchical organization, often to their disadvantage. Looking and even listening closely at whom is giving orders and their movements can: predict some of their next plans of action, warn those who've been targeted by their sn**ch squads, sustain the longevity of the protest or uprising. *
BRING EXTRA CLOTHES OR WHERE UNDERSHIRTS/SHORTS FOR REALTIME CHANGING Sometimes the police will target and arrest specific protestors or agitators whom they feel are the "leaders" or are making the crowd rowdy, when witnessing this targeting DON'T PANIC, bring this to the attention of whomever's targeted, they can leave, change, or swap clothes with another protestor. It is advised that they leave before an arrest is made. Arrests should never be the goal. *
WEAR A MASK
Not just for anti-surveillance fashion, but cause we are still in a pandemic. *
HAVE A POLICE LIAISON OR PIG WHISPERER PRESENT, DO NOT allow the police to designate an authority over the protest, do not do the work for the police. If liaisons talk to police it is their only role to inform the crowd NOT to control it.
TAKE OUT THEIR TECH watch closely to pull from the uprisings throughout the world against police state
violence. The police may be advanced, but they don't have our grit nor the wisdom of our
ancestral rage. Save your rocks for their drones, find ways to destabilize the accuracy of their "less lethal weaponry". Also share this post with friends and com
