Merry Christmas. That’s it. No big proclamation. Just taking a moment to say THANK YOU for letting us be part of your morning (I never take for granted the support and connection with Detroit). God bless you and your family this season, and say a prayer for the men and women serving our country today (I spent two Christmas’s underwater and it’s hard being away).

Becoming more concerned about a freezing rain (ice) threat on Friday, the day after Christmas. The freezing rain could coat things in a layer of ice starting Friday morning through the early afternoon.

Freezing rain is one of the most dangerous winter weather events because it makes travel extremely dangerous. What we'll have working in our favor is that hopefully a lot of people will be off work and can just stay home.

Now let's hope we don't lose power...
