EVENT: This Monday we are hosting a skate sesh / local skate video screening at @rollercade in Detroit. We are accepting video submissions from local skaters and will be premiering some local skate films. This event is family friendly, skate rentals are available for $3, and you can purchase food here in the newly remodeled roller cafe. The session is $12 and goes from 7-10pm.

A LOVE STORY: Engaged on a Lighthouse in Fort Lauderdale

Will she say yes? Will she cry? Will I cry? Engagements are highly emotional, even if you know it's coming. The moment you solidify this major life milestone is unforgettable, so the pressure is on to make it a positive memory.

Michael asked his fiancé to marry him at the Hillsboro Inlet Pompano Beach FL, reserving the private lighthouse for both of their parents to join in on the surprise.

Walking up the spiraling staircase, Farah remained unsuspecting of any dramatic gestures, and enjoyed the historic structure with one of the most incredible views in Southern Florida.

As the couple approached the top, they were greeted by a strong breeze, sunshine, and their parents! Michael didn't waste much time, as he lowered to one knee and spilled his heart to Farah.
