Detroit bans smokeless to***co
The Detroit City Council voted 7-2 today to make it illegal to use chewing to***co, ni****ne pouches, or other smokeless to***co products inside stadiums and sports arenas in the city.
Anyone caught using these products will first be told to stop. If they refuse, they can be charged with a misdemeanor. The first ticket can cost up to $100, and repeat violations can reach $500.
The law applies to players, staff, as well as spectators, meaning anyone inside a stadium or sports arena must follow the new rule.
The ban covers things like chewing to***co, dip, snus, and ni****ne pouches such as Zyn.
Comerica Park, Ford Field, and Little Caesars Arena already ban smoking and va**ng, but this new rule adds smokeless to***co to the list.
