Through two periods, 3-0 Red Wings. I’m pleasantly impressed by their attention to detail in the last game on the road trip. That wouldn’t have happened last year, AT all.

Just imagine if they converted once on Power Play.

My thoughts, Detroit could’ve pulled off the trade, at what cost?

Hughes is unbelievable, he’s great. At what cost, I think Minnesota gave up a lot, not even giving the assurance that he’d re-sign. That’s insane, in my honest opinion,

Hughes would’ve made the team better, but what would the ramifications of the trade have been if the Wings gave up that? I think they would’ve been pretty sizable, and difficult to maneuver especially not knowing, if he’d re-sign….To get you have to give that was a HUGE give

I find it hard to believe New Jersey, or Detroit didn’t have the most to offer. Why they traded him to a Western team? Wild. Literally.

Looks like no Detroit, I’m interested to see what they gave up this is a rather odd destination.
