2016: A top-10 battle under the lights at the Big House. Wilton Speight hits Amara Darboh down the sideline for the game-winning 46-yard touchdown with 8 minutes to go to beat #8 Wisconsin 14-7.

100 DAYS AWAY FROM MICHIGAN FOOTBALL!!

2023: Rod Moore picks off Kyle McCord to seal a 30-24 Michigan victory in The Game for the third year in a row!

The win propelled Michigan to the national championship and eliminated OSU from CFP contention. One of the most meaningful renditions of The Game ever!

Tigers win!Spencer Torkelson went 3/4 with a solo home run and a pair of doubles. Maybe this game will get Tork rolling....

Tigers win!

Spencer Torkelson went 3/4 with a solo home run and a pair of doubles. Maybe this game will get Tork rolling. The Tigers offense desperately needs him.

4 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts for Casey Mize. His ERA is down to 2.27. Unfortunately, he did not return for the 5th inning due to a groin injury. Mize is pitching the best baseball of his career. It’s a shame he can’t stay healthy. Kenley Jansen also left the game with 2 outs in the 9th with an apparent injury. As if the Tigers pitching staff isn’t banged up enough…

Drew Anderson has come into his own. 3 scoreless innings tonight. He has been excellent over his last 25.2 innings with 35 strikeouts and only 4 earned runs. He’s becoming a trustworthy weapon in a versatile role.

C**t Keith, Kevin McGonigle, and Dillon Dingler each went 2/3 while Riley Greene went 1/4 with an RBI single.

The Tigers need every win they can get. They are now 22-34 on the season. Have to get on a winning streak right now, hopefully tonight is the start.

2022: Michigan dials up some trickery in Columbus to pick up a big first down with Kalel Mullings completing a jump pass to Luke Schoonmaker. One of many memorable plays from a 45-23 win over Ohio State.

Tigers lose to the Angels 10-6.

On a night where the offense scored 6 runs for the first time since May 10th, Will Vest crashed and burned in the 8th inning to lose another game for the Tigers. He gave up a grand slam to Vaughn Grissom to put LA on top. Vest now sports a 7.88 ERA on the season. With Brant Hurter on the IL, there isn’t a single trustworthy arm in the bullpen.

Keider Montero did not have his best stuff tonight, surrendering 4 earned runs on 8 hits in 5.2 innings. Matt Vierling made one of the laziest plays you’ll see all season, bouncing a throw into 2nd base from center field to let another run get in. It’s time for AJ Hinch to hold these guys accountable for a lack of effort on defense.

A 3/4 night for Kevin McGonigle, including a 2-RBI triple in the 5th. Jahmai Jones followed that with an RBI single that made it 5-4 Tigers. With the bases loaded and nobody out, Spencer Torkelson and Zach McKinstry struck out before Hao-Yu Lee flied out to right to end the inning. The Tigers missed a major opportunity to put up a crooked number, which came back to bite them thanks to a meltdown from Will Vest.

The Tigers are now 21-34 on the season, 5-18 in May, 10 games out in the AL Central, and 6 back in the wild card race. They are tied with the Angels for the worst record in the American League. Barring a miraculous turnaround in the next few weeks, the Tigers are headed towards a trade deadline sell-off and another rebuild.

2022: Michael Barrett picks off Rutgers QB Gavin Wimsatt and returns it 31 yards for a touchdown. Barrett notched two interceptions in a 52-17 win after Michigan trailed 17-14 at halftime.

7 weeks ago, Elliot Cadeau scored 19 points to lead Michigan Basketball to the title over UConn. A game, and season, Michigan fans will never forget!

2024: Kalel Mullings to the end zone for a 53-yard score against USC at the Big House. On a day where QB Alex Orji threw for only 32 yards, the Michigan running game scored three times and ran for 290 yards in a 27-24 win!

Can’t ask for much better than that from Troy Melton in his first start of the season.

Tigers drop game 1 of Sunday’s doubleheader 5-3.

The Tigers are a complete train wreck. Framber Valdez with a beauty of a start today (6 innings, 1 ER) and Kyle Finnegan and Kenley Jansen proceeded to blow it. Finnegan gave up a run in the 8th and Jansen surrendered a 3-run homer to C**ton Cowser for an Orioles walk-off.

Doesn’t help when your 7-8-9-1 hitters go 1-13 either. Another series loss. 20-33 on the season, 4-17 in May. 8 straight losses. Second game of the doubleheader is at 6:05. Watch at your own risk!
