I’ve wanted to paint a Bobby Labonte car for a long time now so I was super excited when I got a request for one. I gambled on the green color mixture but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the color was pretty much spot on!

I am finally getting caught back up with orders after being under the weather for a little over a week. I appreciate everyone’s patience, the show goes on!

If you squint hard enough at this Monte Carlo, it kinda looks like an Impala SS 🧐. I was commissioned to make this 2008 Dale Earnhardt Jr. #88 Mtn Dew AMP Energy Impala SS, and it turned out better than I expected!

I wanted to go all out on my first Dale Jr. build with the custom “Car of Tomorrow” rear wing that I designed to fit the stock wing mounts. I designed the wing with an aggressive angle of attack in an attempt at making it functional. Hopefully it doesn’t mean taking flight during a crash like the real cars did!

I’ve got some epic throwback bodies I am finishing up that I’m am excited to share soon!

Hopefully this one makes Rusty proud even though it’s not a Pontiac Grand Prix, but a Ford Thunderbird in disguise! 🥸

Painting the pin stripes was tricky on this one, especially around the front bumper, but I am satisfied with how it turned out regardless. The #27 Pontiac and the #2 “Midnight” Ford were among Rusty’s most iconic cup series rides! There are plenty more iconic schemes to come as I am working every day to get these builds complete!

A 1990’s Mike Skinner throwback on a modern Chevy truck! I know many people have done this scheme but it’s timeless look may never get old! I tried my best to model this build off of Mike Skinners 1995-1996 season paint scheme even though there aren’t many photos out there of his truck. I had to resort to watching old race footage to model this one. I even went as far as designing and 3D printing a 90’s era rear wing since the modern truck wings are different.

I’ve got other finished bodies I will be sharing soon so stay tuned!

It’s easy to agree with Rusty Wallace when he says this is one of his favorite cars of all time! Another timeless classic nonetheless, Rusty Wallace’s “Midnight” Ford Thunderbird! I was nervous about matching the shade of gold/yellow but it turned out perfect! Could this scheme be more iconic than the Dale Sr. Intimidator black Chevy?

Boogity, Boogity, Boogity! LETS GO RACIN! Although many have dawned the fluorescent orange Tide car over the decades, I always enjoyed when Darrell Waltrip was behind the wheel! I completed this 90’s era Tide Lumina for someone and I love how it turned out! Definitely gonna be easy to see this one rippin around the track!!

Seeing Ryan Preece in his Coca-Cola Ford win last night at Bowman Gray reminds me of another Coca-Cola car from a different era 27 years ago. Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. debuted 2 Coca-Cola cars in Japan and this was the scheme Dale Sr. raced with! I plan to paint Dale Jr’s Polar Bear Coca-Cola scheme sometime in the future!
