Five years into the journey of being an above knee amputee
I love my life, and I want to live it. I take on all the challenges thrown at me. I hope to help others who are in a similar position realize there is a new life out there waiting for them. It may not be the same life I had before, but there is fulfillment in conquering obstacles, enjoyment in doing the things that make me happy, and accomplishment in getting up every day and continuing my journey. Yes, I lost a leg, but it didn’t lose my Drive. The Axor should be sent in annually. Your Prosthetist will take care of getting a loaner. Integrum takes the Axor and does any necessary maintenance and repairs and sends it back to you.

Why do I love my C-Leg?

See how the multiple setting allow me to adjust and accommodate and got me back in the saddle after amputation ♥️🐴

The C-Leg by is able to easily and quickly change settings to match what I’m doing whether it’s walking or getting back in the saddle. Each activity requires something different, and having that flexibility gives me the control and confidence to do the things I love.

Riding a horse after amputation isn’t something I took for granted. There were days when I wondered if I would ever feel comfortable in the saddle again. Now, being able to adjust my leg and ride with confidence because of the customized settings gives me back the life I thought I lost.

Having an amputation can limit your activities, but finding a prosthetic that adapts to your lifestyle is essential to gaining the life you used to have and finding new ways to adapt. Having a C-Leg after amputation proves that losing a limb doesn’t get to decide what I can do.

Different settings. Different challenges. Same goal ♥️🐴
