Huge congratulations to Matt Hansen and the entire team on an incredible win at TX2K! 🏆

Laying down a blistering 7.51 @ 189 MPH in the Dodge Viper to take the Street Car Pro class is no small feat, especially in a tight battle against Clint Baird in his Toyota Supra MK4.
From being on the fence about even making the trip to standing on top of the podium… that’s what TX2K is all about.

Well deserved win, can’t wait to see what’s next.

TX2K continues to prove why it stands as one of the most electrifying roll racing and drag racing events in the country, bringing together the fastest street cars, the biggest names in the scene, and an atmosphere that’s nothing short of chaos in the best way possible.

One of the most talked about storylines of the weekend came from Wasabi Garage, also known as “White Rice,” going head to head with Brett LaSala in a back and forth battle that had everyone glued to the boards. Pass after pass, both teams pushed the limits, trading record breaking times and raising the bar with each run. In the end, it was LaSala who edged ahead, laying down an incredible 5.879-second pass at 242 mph, setting a new TX2K record and taking home the $36,000 prize in dominant fashion.

In the Street Car division, fan favorite Cleetus McFarland once again proved why he’s more than just entertainment. Behind the wheel of his Corvette “Ruby,” Cleetus put down a blistering 7.639 second pass to secure the win, showcasing a perfect blend of consistency, power, and driving precision that kept fans on their feet.

Beyond the headline runs, TX2K was packed with standout moments, from wild roll racing matchups to half mile racing that saw some of the fastest builds in the country stretch their legs. The pits were just as alive as the track, filled with cutting edge builds, industry leading sponsors, and teams dialing in every last ounce of performance. It’s that combination of grassroots passion and elite level competition that continues to make TX2K a must attend event year after year.

Huge congratulations to Brett LaSala for an absolutely record shattering performance at TX2K this weekend. Throwing down an insane 5.879 second pass at 242 mph, LaSala not only claimed the win but reset the TX2K record in dominant fashion.

In a weekend filled with tight competition and constant back and forth, especially against Wasabi Garage’s “White Rice”, this run stood above the rest. A well earned $36,000 payday and a new benchmark set for everyone chasing.

Another year of Eurotripper is in the books, and it did not disappoint. We headed down to Fort Meyers for one of the most laid-back events on the calendar. This show isn't about chasing trophies; it's about the Euro community coming together for a "chill on the grass" vibe.
The quality of builds this year was insane. The “mutts nuts” (the pre selected Top 50) set a high bar, and a huge congrats to our friends at Corr Motorsports for taking home Best Club again, those guys do a ton of the heavy lifting to make this show happen.

What makes EuroTripper special is that it’s a non profit. This year, they teamed up with Brooks Legacy Animal Rescue to help local dogs find homes. Big thanks to the sponsors like Urotuning, Rotiform, and Liquimolly for keeping the scene alive and well.

With the introduction of two new teams to the Formula 1 grid this year, anticipation for the upcoming season is already building. A mix of new faces, returning drivers, and a few lineup decisions that have sparked debate leave fans asking the same question: what will this season bring to Formula 1?

American newcomer Cadillac enters the sport with hopes of a strong debut, partnering with Ferrari for power as they focus on building a competitive foundation in their first year. Meanwhile, Audi makes a bold entrance of its own, committing fully as a factory team and supplying its own engine as it begins its long-term F1 campaign. With fresh teams, evolving driver dynamics, and no shortage of storylines heading into the season, all signs point to an exciting year ahead.

That leaves us with one question to kick things off. Which team, in your opinion, wins in the best looking livery department?

What do we do when temperatures dip below zero and all the usual party spots are frozen solid in Michigan? We lean into it, put vehicles on the ice and make the most of it. Another year of the Lake St. Clair Ice Drags brought out a fresh wave of participants and spectators, all willing to brave the cold for a weekend of winter motorsports.

The Ice Drags feature a mix of straight line drag racing, circle track racing, and no shortage of donuts carved into the ice, creating nonstop action throughout the weekend. Rows of lifted trucks, race cars, sleds, and winter toys lined the lake, adding to the electric atmosphere that makes this event so special year after year. It’s one of the best ways to embrace winter, shake off the seasonal blues, and remind everyone that Michigan finds a way to have fun no matter the conditions. We only wish events like this came around more often. Make sure to follow along for all your motorsports news, updates and standings!

It was a disappointing end to the weekend for both Lia Block (co-driver A. Gelsomino) and Javier Castro (co-driver E. Garcia), as both teams were disqualified after being towed through time controls by other competitors. Meanwhile, Travis Pastrana and Rhianon Gelsomino suffered their own setback after getting stuck and scrambling to dig themselves out, dropping them to tenth overall.

Capitalizing on the chaos, former third-place runners Mark Piatkowski and A. Mantopoulos fought their way to the top and secured a second overall victory at the ARA Sno*Drift Rally. The weekend proved that no matter how large the lead or where you come from, Michigan’s snowy roads can level the playing field in an instant. We’re already planning our 2027 trip to experience this unmatched energy once again. Thanks for following along this weekend, and be sure to stick with us for more motorsports news and updates.

The final day of Sick Week claimed a few more familiar names, as the competition continued to take its toll. Blayne Stark and Mike Finnegan both ran into unfortunate issues that brought their racing to an early end, cutting their week one day short. Meanwhile, the Swedish team led by Niklas Linrin laid down a strong final pass of 6.46 to lock in the overall victory. With that win, Sweden now holds a 3–2 edge over the USA in Sick Week victories. What an incredible week of racing, road trips, and nonstop action. We think we can speak for everyone when we say we’re already counting down the days until next year. Thanks for following along with the page, it truly means a lot.
