Michigan Summer Beer Festival is canceled

We have to admit, we were looking forward to seeing how many beers would be named after aspects of quarantine and self-isolation. Knowing the crowds that attend, this is probably the safe decision.

Often a sold out affair, the annual beer fest was scheduled for July 24-25 in Riverside Park in Ypsilanti

If you've ever been to a Michigan Brewers Guild festival, you've seen this guy, usually all in green with a horn in his hand and going by "Hop Man." His larger-than-life presence will be missed.

It is with great sadness that we regret to let the Greenbush community know the passing of our East Side Sales guy and all around excellent human being, Cowboy Doug Tetmeyer.
