One year of marriage, a thousand memories, and a whole lot of dough shared along the way. 🤍

Today marks one year of marriage with my best friend, my hero, and my forever taste-tester, Skylar.

This past year hasn’t been easy — we’ve faced long hours, hard days, and plenty of late-night baking sessions, but through it all, we’ve grown stronger together.

He’s the calm to my chaos, the muscle behind every market setup, the man who wipes away every tear, and somehow stays patient with both me and Marco (which deserves a medal on its own 😅).

And let’s not forget he’s the most underpaid bakery employee in history. Paid strictly in love and endless baked goodies… tough gig, huh? 😏

I’m so grateful to have a man who believes in my dream just as much as I do. Together, we’ve built this little bakery life from the ground up, and we’re still building — one loaf, one cookie, one memory at a time.

Family time is calling, y’all. 🩵

We’ve got loved ones flying in, and we’re heading to the mountains to soak up some much-needed time together and celebrate Thanksgiving a little early. 🦃🏔️

Sarah’s Southern Kitchen will be closed from November 15th through November 21st and will reopen on November 22nd.

When we get back, we’ll be jumping straight into Thanksgiving pre-orders, so go ahead and start planning your holiday favorites.

Her recipes, her love, and her Southern spirit are the roots of Sarah’s Southern Kitchen.

Every loaf, cookie, and cinnamon roll is a piece of her legacy carried forward with pride.

This bakery began because of her, and today I bake in her honor. 🌼✨
