The Massachusetts State Senate has taken a monumental step by passing two critical amendments to the Economic Development bill:

Raise the Age: Expands juvenile court jurisdiction to include 18-year-olds.

Clean Slate: Automates the sealing of eligible juvenile and criminal records.

While this brings us closer than ever to seeing these vital reforms pass before the end of the year, it still needs to get through a six member conference committee to make it into the final bill.

ROXBURY RENAISSANCE READERS CLUB💫

We are thrilled to share our partners kick-off of the Roxbury Renaissance Readers Club!

Starting on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Grove Hall Branch Library (141 Geneva Avenue, Dorchester).

This inclusive space is designed for adults to connect with neighbors, explore diverse perspectives, and engage with literature that reflects the experiences and aspirations of Black Boston and the broader African Diaspora.

More than a traditional book club, this program promotes civic engagement, critical thinking, and community stewardship by examining how stories shape our world.

We’re taking team building to the next level and heading to Canobie Lake Park for a day of thrills, connection, and growth with our 3PP cohort and MSB participants! 

When you’ve overcome real life challenges, a rollercoaster is light work. We’re trading fear for pure freedom and building stronger bonds together.
