COFFEE COUNTY EMA….

Thursday, 23-JAN-2025, 9:30 AM update

Our roads improved some yesterday but we've seen a hard freeze last night, resulting in LOTS of ice today.

As a reminder, the Impassable Travel Advisory is still in place for Coffee County roads and bridges. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this is getting better quickly. Some of our state highways (AL 167, AL 189 and AL 125) are in rough shape. Our deputies are out working wrecks and/or disabled vehicles causing lane blockages. 🚓

Our county crews are out working on the county bridges, but it's a mess. ⚠️

We're "Chicken Our List"...We're chicken it twice, as a matter of fact...We're chicken it 3 times!

Santa makes his big return to Guthrie's in Dothan on December 3rd this year!

We're dedicating this year's event in honor of our dear, wonderful friend and partner, Pam Miles. Pam was instrumental from the very beginning in making this toy drive a success and giving back to Wiregrass children - not just on this day, but every day. We no doubt contribute the growth of this event to her and Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention, and her presence will be dearly missed, but her joyful spirit will be with us!

We encourage our customers to drop off an unwrapped toy at the store between now and then to fill Santa's sleigh and donate what you can. Toys and funds raised will be benefitting Wiregrass children and local first responders.

Tell a friend and spread the word - we can't wait to celebrate the holiday season with you!

I could be wrong… but I don’t think I WVER saw a NICK SABAN team posing for a pic on the sideline after an interception during a game….. I seriously do my just watched that happen. What the heck kind of rules do they not have since NICK left???
