Steve Jordan, the world-renowned drummer for The Rolling Stones, recently sat down with Julie Jonlich for an exclusive interview about music, life, and philanthropy, including his work with the Jazz Foundation of America.

Jordan’s strong musical ties to Chicago go back to his days as an inaugural member of the Blues Brothers. He also recently curated and produced "Let’s Play Chess", a newly released 2-LP anthology from Chicago’s legendary Chess Records that commemorates Windy City music icons, including Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Ramsey Lewis, Maurice White, Buddy Guy, and many others.

The internationally respected musician and producer also discusses his upcoming collaboration with Buddy Guy on a new album timed to celebrate Guy’s 90th birthday. As Jordan puts it, the project “is gonna be awesome.”
