In 2006, I embarrassed myself in front of the whole state of Oklahoma.

Heres how I did this to myself…

I walked over the the man with the large hunk of metal and plastic. I think this was my first memory of ever seeing a camera, and I asked the man, “what’s that black thing you’re holding?”, “A Camera” he said with a smile on his face. “Whats it do” I asked, as confused as a 5 year old could be. He said “it takes this thing you can see, puts it on a piece of paper, and lets you keep it forever”. I think you know where this is going… “Can I do something cool and you give me the paper?” I said. “Yes, Go sit down and do something cool” he said. (Picture below)

In my 5 year old brain this is what I believed was cool! Turns out when my father brought me the paper a month later was 1st, it made me laugh, and second, it made me want to be the star of more “papers” or pictures I later learned them to be called.

I believe these moments are the exact representation of what the modern content creator went through as a child. So yeah, I make a lot of pictures and videos growing my business ( ) and it blows my mind that it all started from this exact moment in time, caught on camera.

Who knows what the next invention will be, or what we will be introduced to for the first time. All I know is we are alive, our loved ones are alive, AND WE LIVE IN THE BEST TIME PERIOD TO EVER BE A HUMAN BEING! And that’s all that matters! Let all the embarrassments of our past stay in 2006. It’s better that way.

Then surprised me the first flowers I’ve ever received in my lifetime. I think there’s a lesson here.
