Kangaroo Court Strikes Again: Justice Department Lets Forger Walk Free

July 7, 2026 — Khem Veasna, leader of the LDP, has once again lambasted the Cambodian judiciary, labeling it a "mad court" for its decision to acquit an individual accused of forging the signatures of public officials to operate a Korean language school.

During a live broadcast this morning (at the 30-minute mark), Uncle Veasna slammed the court’s ruling in favor of E Su Ching. According to LDP President, the individual allegedly forged the signatures, names, and phone numbers of public officials to open the "Chonju" school, which teaches Korean and facilitates the transit of migrant workers to South Korea.

Uncle Veasna mocked the legal implications of the verdict, stating that if forging signatures is no longer a punishable offense, then he, or anyone else, should be free to do the same since the law apparently no longer applies.

The LDP leader issued a stern warning to the court: if such "miscarriages of justice" continue, he will mobilize his party members to stage protests directly at the courthouse in the near future.
