I hardly ever post about my BJJ journey, and that's because this journey is for me.

However...

Today was a very great day to introspect. I have made some of the best friends in my life through this sport and I continue to meet great individuals throughout my journey. That is the end of my soapbox on that for now.

A few things of note to close this post with:

I had my 1st Heelhook win as a purple belt today. I dedicate this win to my 1st leglock coach:

I also had another Victory by submission which I will dedicate to my friend, brother, and coach . I aspire to have a straight ankle as devastating as yours and I will continue to work at it.

In closing I want to thank the 3 groups that have been imperative to my 2024 journey in BJJ:

thanks for keeping me sharp and bringing me into your house where iron sharpens iron.

for bringing me in and making me feel at home everyday that I drop in.

And of course best for last: for always being there to patch my holes, sharpen my strengths, and being a home away from home since I started to really start taking my BJJ seriously again. You guys are always there for me when I need help preparing for comp and I am always grateful to walk alongside your ranks into battle.

Barbarians need a bard like a bard needs barbarians.
I love you all.

It's been a fun camp. I'm very grateful for all of the support I have been getting from my many various brethren I've met along my martial arts journey.

I haven't competed in a while, but it feels good to light the flames of war in this flesh machine again.

New video just dropped on the YT channel. My man broke down some of the tools he uses to push an opponent to the cage and finish them with a multitude of deadly options. Also got to do some great rolls with the guys from before we filmed this which was awesome. Thanks for letting us use the space guys!!
